Welcome

We help young people gain the skills they need to shine bright

We’re Scouts and everyone is welcome here.

Every week, we help over 140 young people between the ages of 4 to 18 experience the adventure that scouting provides, create lifelong friendships and develop skills for life.

“We’re so impressed and pleased with the range of activities you offer, the humour, fun, heartiness and social skills it teaches. Thank you so much for all the work you do. You’re shaping so many people, so positively.”

Welcome to 1st Bernwood Forest Scout Group

Based in Long Crendon, covering Dinton, Stone, Cuddington, Shabbington, the Winchendons and local villages; 1st Bernwood Forest Scout Group is one of the largest groups in the Chiltern Vale District area.

It is exciting to be involved with us. We believe in giving life skills to young people by enriching their lives through new experiences and challenges, taking part in regular meetings, camping trips and day trip activities.

Our group is supported by a fantastic team of volunteers who help give our young people ‘skills for life’ every week.
